Our Journey
The SBGA evolved from the Singapore Business Association of Queensland Inc (SBAQI) which was formed in 1996, in response to the then Singapore Prime Minister, HE Goh Chok Tong's challenge in 1995 to form an organisation to facilitate trade and investments between Singapore and Queensland.
Since then, the group has been active in leading trade delegations to Singapore, conducting seminars and conferences and assisting individuals and organisations alike through their network of contacts.

Committed To Our Community
As a socially aware and responsible global citizen, the SBGA devotes considerable energy towards working with other community and ethnic groups to increase the social and economic wealth in our society. This comes through in the form of programs which assist the underprivileged and small business owners, likewise, programs which seek to enhance education, law and order and ethnic cohesiveness.
Committed To Future Generations
As the world changes with the progress of technology, it is imperative that our education system adjusts itself to remain relevant to the challenges of the new economy. The "borderless" world as we know it today increasingly pitches human talent against that of machines. As such, our education has to increase its rigour in order to prepare the individual for a more robust society. In that light, it is imperative that our people compete with the best in the world and our less privileged have an equal opportunity to participate at the highest possible levels.
